WRBC Youth TEAM

WRBC Youth TEAM Teens, here are a couple of things you’ll want to know over the weekend:

1.  The Youth TEAM will be helping with the church booth at the Cattle Congress Fair on Friday 9/19 and Saturday 9/20.  Meet at the church at 5:30 PM, and we’ll return to church about 9:30 PM (booth closes about 8:15 PM and we might wander around CC while we’re there).

2.  NOTE:  On Saturday (9/20) we talked about going at 3:30 PM and working the booth from 4:00 to 8:00 PM… with the help list already has four people at the booth from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, SATURDAY TEENS NEED TO MEET PASTOR DAVE AT WRBC AT 5:30 PM!!!  Parents, we’ll return to WRBC around 9:30 PM.

3.  Any WRBC Teens wanting to go get lunch at CC and go to the Demolition Derby with Pastor Dave… please call PDWT at 290-6535.  Cost is $6 for admission into CC, lunch varies (remember it is fair food $$$), and PDWT will pay your admission into the Demolition Derby.

4.  Faith-FEST Registration was mailed yesterday, but you can still sign-up.  The cost is now $25 per person (plus breakfast and supper).  Please contact Pastor Dave if you’d like to attend.  We’re meeting at WRBC at 6:15 AM (leaving at 6:30 PM / returning at 8:30 PM).  We have room for about 9 more people.  319-290-6535 (Pastor Dave’s cell)

This is one of the most amazing youth events in our great state.  Faith is doing it all right…. with a great youth speaker:  Ken Rudolph, with over 20 giant inflatable activities, and with over 1,200 teens – Make plans now to join the WRBC Youth TEAM for Faith-FEST ‘08.  This event is hosted on the campus of Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa.  Can be downloaded right here!  Registrations must be turned into Pastor Dave by Wednesday, September 17th.  The cost is $15 per person.  Teens will also need money for breakfast, supper, snacks, and “Faith” soveniers.  After September 19th, the price of the event increases to $25 per person.  See Pastor Dave if you’re interested in attending the Faith “Visitor’s Weekend” prior to Faith-FEST.  SPACE IS LIMITED TO 44 TEENS… so get your permission slip/registration and payment into Pastor Dave as soon as possible.  Registrations will be accepted on a first-come/first-serve basis.  Faith-FEST is open to all teens 7th-12th grade, so invite your friends!  Click on the links below for downloadable information.  Make checks payable to:  “WRBC Youth TEAM” (as we will be sending one check for our total registration).  If you or your parents have any questions, please contact Pastor Dave at 319-233-3545, ext. #125.
